Spring into Sacrewell marks the start of the daily lamb feeding shows, which are an educational talk about the cade (orphaned) lambs and how they’re raised, while the rangers feed and check them.

“This year we’ll also be introducing visitors to the pets in our Animal Village and allowing some handling of our rabbits, Guinea pigs and chicks,” said marketing

and events executive Megan Allen.

Births are difficult to predict to the day so visitors who would like to see the newborn lambs should keep an eye on the website for an announcement of the first birth of the year.

Spring into Sacrewell will take place every day from this Saturday (March 5) to April 24 with lamb feeding shows at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm.

Sacrewell is just off the A1/A47 at Wansford, Peterborough and is open from 9.30am to 5pm every day.
