Part of A1M at Peterborough blocked after Mercedes hits central reservation

The crash took place at around 1.40pm on the southbound carriageway close to the junction with Fletton Parkway.

A black Mercedes C200 collided with the central reservation after being hit by a white van.

Nobody was injured in the incident but Highways England have been called as the crash barrier has been damaged.

Police are on the scene awaiting recovery and for the barrier to be fixed.

Traffic is reported to be moving well.
