Primary school pupils in Yaxley got to meet a ‘real life superhero’ when an air ambulance paramedic visited their assembly.
The youngsters at Yaxley Primary School met East Anglian Air Ambulance’s (EAAA) critical-care paramedic (CCP) Gary Spitzer during a visit on Friday.
The youngsters were able to ask questions, as well as examine Gary’s equipment.
The school will also be fundraising for the Charity throughout the year using their ‘Pennycopter’ scheme which gives students the opportunity to donate 10p at a time to raise £50 for EAAA.
