A huge cheque was handed over to Sue Ryder’s Thorpe Hall Hospice after a world record breaking fundraising event in Peterborough.
The cheque for £119.332 was handed to the hospice by Mark Homer and Rob Moore from Progressive Property.
The pair had been involved in August in the longest ever talk-in. Mark and Rob, alongside a number of other colleagues, managed to talk for 117 consecutive hours during a business speech at their base in Hampton. The speech smashed the previous record of 100 hours. The cheque was handed to Sharon Moore, Susan Shackleton, Kelly Sciara and Erica Thompson at the hospice this week.
