Out of control bonfire closes Peterborough road
An out of control bonfire caused a road in Peterborough to be closed.
Three fire engines and a water carrier attended Willow Hall Lane in Thorney last night (Saturday).
Firefighters were called out at 9.43pm where the flames had spread to nearby trees and a fence, leading to the road being closed.
The fire was put out by 11pm with the road then re-opening.
Nobody was hurt, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
