I liked the cricket comment in last week’s PT. Good stuff re short form and red ball. Why not now ban all cricketers called Mitchell?
Welcome down from your fence Swanny, and on to your high horse. Or did you only sit on your fence where Fergie Jr was concerned?
Posh are not even very good at playing the long ball game and we’ve been bit lucky with a couple of wins. Strikers can’t hit a barn door and there is no creativity. Apart from that I suppose everything is ok.
Forty-one games into the season and Posh are going for team bonding!
Perhaps someone should have come up with this idea a little earlier.
If Posh had not had the familiar ‘sacked manager revival syndrome’, we would be in serious danger of relegation. I fear we are almost back to the pre-Darragh MacAnthony era.
I’m beginning to think Dave Robertson is living in a different era. I hope football has moved on from where he seems to coming from.
Robbo made sure Posh weren’t dragged into a relegation scrap on a wave of new-manager luck and optimism, but now reality has kicked in. We need a new manager, and we need a new squad of players, preferably players who actually want the ball and who know which direction the goal is.
Leave Robbo alone. He saved the season.
