Graham Salisbury is the referee who denied Posh a last-second equaliser at Burton Albion by making one of the most ridiculous decisions I’ve ever seen earlier this season.
A couple of weeks later he was at it again when sending off a Cambridge United player for no obvious reason.
The decision to disallow Jermaine Anderson’s superb strike at Burton was so bad, Posh received an e-mailed apology from the match-day assessor.
Obviously you’d think there might be some sort of punishment handed down to such an obviously out-of-form referee, but you’d be wrong.
Salisbury’s next appointment is a Championship fixture that’s live on television. No wonder so many officials look so smug. There is no accountability.
