BYE BYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE
I wouldn’t normally revel in anyone losing their job, but I’m happy to make an exception for Malky Mackay who was sacked by Wigan Athletic this week.
How he ever hopes to have the respect of a multi-cultural, multi-national dressing room is beyond me. Thankfully I’m not sure there are any more dinosaur chairmen left in football so his future job prospects are justifiably bleak.
DON’T WATCH THE HAS-BEEN
Pride and ego have got in the way of good sense. That’s the only rational explanation for past-it Tiger Woods’ decision to take part in the Masters next week. Good news for Rory McIlroy though as the spotlight will be on a has-been rather than the best player in the world.
