DEAR EDITOR: We were late by half an hour for Billy Connolly.

We only live in Fane Road Walton and we left at 6.45pm. We sat in the queue for over an hour and finally got into the venue by 8.30pm

There is plenty of parking at the arena but I don’t know what the issue was or why the traffic was so slow.

We were not sure if they were charging to park and that was why it was slowed down, although by the time we got there they were just waving you to park. Not may parking attendants though.

When we got into the venue our seats had been taken by someone else as we couldn’t get to them without disturbing other people,

We stood for the whole time.

When we got in there we were asking the stewards where the seats were for direction and as she didn’t have a torch she couldn’t say and just pointed in the general direction. On the whole they were few on far between for help as well.

We desperately need a good venue for decent acts to come to Peterborough but if this is the quality of the service we get from the venue it will put the acts off from coming.

I think what didn’t help was that some idiot arranged for two big events on the same night (PT awards) and the traffic along Oundle road was a nightmare.
