New centre will be hub of the community in Peterborough

A new community hub has been officially opened in Peterborough.

The Gladstone Community Hub, in Bourges Boulevard, has been launched by City College Peterborough.

It was officially opened by Peterborough City Council leader Councillor John Holdich.

Pat Carrington, principal of the city college, said: “The hub is a great new addition to the Peterborough community.

“Offering information and advice services and free courses, it will help strengthen the local community and help make Peterborough a strong and vibrant place to live in.”

A number of councillors and members of the college’s senior leadership team along with some local residents attended the launch event for the hub.
