Marshals are needed for the second annual sponsored BRoW (Bike Run or Walk [with or without a dog]) for Magpas Air Ambulance which is taking place on Saturday July 30 at Poppy Field, Ferry Meadows, Peterborough.

The organisers are seeking people to volunteer as marshals for the event. Marshals will be needed to direct participants and visitors to Poppy Field and parking, as well as patrolling the three biking, running and walking routes to ensure the safety of the participants. If volunteers cannot marshal all day, a couple of hours would be a great help.

The gates open at 9am until 4pm, with registration between 10am and 12noon. The day will also be a family fun day with attractions and stalls in attendance. Among these will be the Norris Museum presenting Fantastic Fossils, face painting, EZtreat sweet cones, Maureen Regan Photography, a fire engine between 2pm and 4pm, food and ice cream, a tomobola where every ticket wins a soft toy, and more. Entrance to the family fun activities is free and open to all.

BRoW for Magpas is a team of volunteers raising money for Magpas Air Ambulance. The annual sponsored Bike Run or Walk for Magpas is the major event of the year although fundraising continues year round.
