Man arrested on suspicion of murder as investigation moves to Wisbech house

A major operation has been underway at a house in Wisbech as detectives investigate the possible murder of a factory worker.

Police probing the disappearance of Ricardos Puisys turned up at the house in Cannon Street on Thursday – and were still there on Monday morning.

A spokesman said: “This is part of investigations into missing Ricardos Puisys. There is no further update at this time.”

The operation comes after detectives arrested a 31-year-old male on suspicion of Mr Puisys’ murder.

Mr Puisys, 35, who is from Lithuania, was last seen at his workplace on September 26.

The arrested man was released on police bail and is due to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough on March 2.

Mr Puisys worked at Nightlayer Leek Company, a fruit and vegetable wholesaler in Chatteris. Colleagues and friends have not seen or heard from him since his last shift there.
