Man arrested for being more than three times over drink drive limit on A47
A man was arrested for being more than three times over the drink drive limit while driving along the A47 between Peterborough and Wisbech this morning, Tuesday June 7.
Police were alerted to the driver at 11:16am this morning after reports of a silver Renault swerving all over the A47 towards Guyhirn.
Police stopped the vehicle at Guyhirn Bridge and the male driver gave a positive breath test blowing 113, the legal drink drive limit being 35.
The driver was arrested and taken to Wisbech Police Station where he gave positive breath tests of 113 and 114.
