Major delays at A1/A14 junction
Drivers are being held up around one of the region's busiest road junctions this lunchtime because of congestion associated with ongoing roadworks.
There are reports that drivers are unable to turn onto the A14 from the southbound A1M because of the volume of traffic and are being forced to continue on the A1.
Highways England are currently reporting delays of up to 40 minutes and have warned the disruption is likely to continue until around 3.30pm.
Meanwhile, police have confirmed they are not dealing with any incidents in the area.
