Lorry fire causes delays on A1M at Peterborough
A lorry fire caused long delays on the A1M between Fletton Parkway and Norman Cross.
Crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a the lorry fire on the hard shoulder on Saturday May 7, at 12.19pm.
The vehicle was well alight and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to extinguish the fire by 1pm.
The cause of the fire was accidental by equipment.
