LOOKING BACK SPORT: Captain on tee at Peterborough Milton Golf Club 30 years ago
Pictured 30 years ago is Peterborough Milton Golf Club captain Gill Johnstone with his family and club members on Captain's Day.
The main Captain’s Day competition was won by Andrew Mowforth with 42 points with Jock Embleton finishing second on 39 points and Clack McCrae third, also on 39 points.
Highlight of the day, however, was a hole-in-one by 15-handicap member Dennis Hipwell at the par three ninth.
