Both Ailsworth and Castor now have their own defibrillators available for use in case of an emergency.

A chance remark by local villager Chris Murrell to install a defibrillator in Ailsworth in the old village telephone box, followed by a decision from Shabbir Damani of Halls the Chemist in the adjoining village of Castor, that they should have one too - has now resulted in this life-saving equipment being installed.
