A LEVEL RESULTS: Deepings School students once again perform well

Deepings School students have performed extremely well again this year with nearly three quarters of all exams taken achieving A* to C grades.

There have been many outstanding individual performances. Phoebe Fuller (A*,A,A), Charlotte Lydford (A*,A,A), Leona Scothern (A*,A, A), Hanifa Chohan (A*,A,B), Esther Alderson (A,A,B), Ambreen Osman (A,A,B), and Jacob Webb (A,A,B) have secured grades at the highest level. Our Pass rate of 100% is a fantastic achievement reflects our inclusive values and the fact that we ‘Dare to Excel’ for every student.

Headteacher Richard Trow said: “These results combined with really strong student support will ensure that our students will go on to the universities and career paths of their choice. We are extremely proud of them. As a year group they have worked in partnership with their teachers and contributed positively to growing a climate for success across the whole school.”

Head girl Hayley Cancea said she was delighted with her A* in food technology and the opportunities that could come from achieving the highest of grades. Equally pleased was Phoebe Fuller, whose A*,A,A grades secured her place at Durham University.

Head of sixth form, Phil Smith said: “It is with a great sense of pride that we recognise the hard work of the Year 13 students in achieving a strong set of results that will enable them to pursue their aspirations in the future. The fact that so many of our students have performed so well is testament to their commitment and desire to realise their potential.”
