Christmas shoppers and visitors to Peterborough city centre are invited to take time out of their festive preparations to share their seasonal message or leave a dedication to a loved one on a special tree.

The Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice Lights of Love tree is being hosted in Peterborough Town Hall in Bridge Street throughout December.

All are invited to drop into the Town Hall and write a message to hang on the tree. A donation can also be made to the hospice at the same time.

The tree will be on display in reception during opening hours until Friday, December 22.

Lights of Love trees will also be on display and available to hang dedications on at Thorpe Hall Hospice in Longthorpe from December 4. And all are welcome at the hospice’s Lights of Love carol concert starting at 6pm on Sunday, December 10.
