LATEST: Man killed in crash between Stilton and Conington

A large number of police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene of the crash, which took place between North Street, Stilton and Conington Lane, Conington, at 7am.

Police have now confirmed that a man aged in his 30s died from his injuries at the scene.

A second motorist was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with minor injuries.

The road was closed for around eight hours while police investigations continue. It has now reopened.

Anyone who witnessed the incident should call the Road Policing Unit on 101.
