The festive spirit was still in full swing in Eye as more than 100 residents joined in a traditional Christmas dinner.
The ‘late Christmas Lunch’ was organised at the Eye Community Centre on Sunday (11 January), with 102 elderly residents tucking into turkey with all the trimmings, followed by Christmas pudding and custard.
Di Parkin and Jacqui Stygall, who helped organised the lunch were joined at the event by Councillor Richard Brown, Deputy Mayor Chris Harper and Councillor David Sanders.
Mrs Parkin said: “It has become a late Christmas tradition, because many of the elderly residents might not have seen many people over Christmas.
“Everyone really got into the festive spirit and had a good time.”
