Homewares designer Sophie Allport said she was “over the moon” to have won a four star award for her stand at Chelsea Flower Show.
There are more than 200 trade stands at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which opens today (Tuesday) to the public and runs until Saturday, May 23. The show was visited yesterday by The Queen.
Sophie said: “We’ve been working hard over the past months designing the stand and started building it last week. We’re thrilled to be given such an amazing award.”
Sophie, who has her business in Langtoft, is showcasing her new Gardening collection of homewares plus new Garden Accessories. Also on sale will be her new ‘Catch me if you can!’ fine bone china mug that is hand decorated and finished in Stoke on Trent. A limited number have been personalised for Chelsea this year and have ‘Chelsea Flower Show 2015’ written on the inside rim of the mug in Sophie’s signature handwriting.
“I love the Chelsea Flower Show,” said Sophie. “As a huge gardening enthusiast it’s one of the highlights of my year. It’s such an honour to be at this very special British event.”

The Sophie Allport showroom and seconds shop has now doubled in size and been refurbished at King Street Industrial Estate, Langtoft. It is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
