Women who are pregnant or have just given birth are being asked for their feedback on the maternity services at Peterborough City Hospital.

An event on Monday, April 20 is the first of its kind and does not require any booking.

It will be held from 1.30pm to 3pm in the Denis Bracey Room of the Learning Centre at the hospital.

Women and their birthing partners can drop-in and get the opportunity to speak to midwives, share experiences with other new parents, provide feedback and offer suggestions for improvement.

Deborah Caffull, acting head of midwifery, said: “It is absolutely imperative that we have an open channel of communication with the women and families using our antenatal, delivery, and postnatal services.

“The feedback is invaluable to us as a team to ensure we’re meeting the needs of each and every person who comes through the door, and we want to hear both the good and the bad so that we can highlight any potential issues, as well as feed back any praise.”

For more information, women are asked to speak to their community midwife or call the maternity helpline on 01733 677266.
