Hospital staff have gone to the top of the class - and celebrated at a Peterborough graduation ceremony.

Staff at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust recently celebrated their achievements in completing additional qualifications they have studied for this year.

The Graduation Ceremony was held at Peterborough City Hospital on Wednesday 29 November and is the second graduation event hosted by the Trust this year.

Almost 60 members of staff were presented with certificates for qualifications including maternity and paediatric support, customer services, clinical healthcare support, pharmacy support and an Assessor qualification. A large number of young apprentices, aged 16+, have also recently graduated.

Stephen Graves, Trust Chief Executive, said: “For our dedicated staff, achieving additional qualifications alongside working hours is no easy undertaking. It demonstrates how devoted our staff are to developing their own skills in order to carry out their roles to the highest standard.

“I enjoy attending these events and seeing colleagues rewarded for all the extra effort they undertake to enhance their skills and knowledge at work.”
