Man in critical condition after collapsing in Peterborough

A man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after collapsing in Lincoln Road in Peterborough.

The road was closed between Thistlemoor Road and Crown Street while emergency services worked at the scene.

A diversion was set up for traffic.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 3.24pm today (December 1) to reports that a man was unconscious and not breathing on Lincoln Road, Peterborough.

A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance crew, an ambulance officer and the air ambulance from MAGPAS were dispatched to help.

The patient was taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance in a critical condition.”
