Almost £40,000 has been raised for Magpas Helimedix by a Peterborough-based recruitment firm.

The charity emergency service received a donation for £37,500 from The One Group, based in Tyndall Court, Commerce Road, after golfing days and other events.

Tristan Drane, managing director of the company, is pictured last week showing off his golf skills to accountancy recruitment specialist Sam Price as well as Magpas crew member Adam Bright and chief pilot Richard Eastwood at the Magpas operations base at Raf Wyton, Huntingdon.

Tristan said: “Our choice of charity feels 100 per cent right. It provides a crucial, local, lifesaving service and Magpas relies wholly on donations to make a critical difference to people’s lives in the areas where we all live and work.”
