Fun day helps to raise funds for Sue Ryder care Thorpe Hall hospice
At its family fun day on August 14, Peterborough business Coloplast edged close to reaching its £10,000 fundraising target for the Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice in the city.
Members of the charity joined over 350 staff and family members from Coloplast’s UK headquarters in Peterborough to enjoy a range of games, entertainment acts, barbeques, raffles and cake sales, with proceeds going to the hospice.
The medical devices manufacturer has so far raised more than £8,000 since it announced its partnership with Sue Ryder in March after losing two long serving members of staff to cancer.
The company committed to raising £10,000 in 2016 through various activities, with employees taking part in a number of activities.
