Four arson attacks on vehicles in three days in Peterborough

There has been a spate of arson attacks on vehicles in Peterborough in the past few days.

On Friday, April 1, a crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a car fire in a field off Oxney Road, Eastfield.

Firefighters extinguished a car that was on fire. The cause of the fire was deliberate.

Also on Friday, a crew from Stanground was called to a car fire in Toftland, Orton Malborne. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the car, located in a play area. The cause was again deliberate.

On Saturday morning, April 2, a crew from Stanground was called to a car fire in Tresham Road, Orton Southgate.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire was again deliberate.

And finally, on Sunday, April 3, a crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fire in Willow Hall Lane, near Thorney.

Firefighters discovered an unoccupied caravan on fire and wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished it with a hose reel.
