Several sheds were destroyed by a blaze which saw flames leaping 30 feet into the air in a Peterborough street.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in Palmerston Road, Woodston, at around 11.30pm last night (Tuesday,May 12).
Several sheds were wrecked and one eye witness said: “It looked like a major fire, at one stage flames were more than 30 feet in the air.”
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus brought the fire under control before it could spread and endanger nearby homes.
An investigation revealed the fire was started accidentally.
