Fire at Peterborough's Westgate Arcade started by industrial chip pan

An industrial chip pan started a fire at Westgate Arcade.

Firefighters were called at 2.32pm on Saturday (November 12) to Queensgate Shopping Centre.

Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using carbon dioxide extinguishers and returned to their stations by 3.40pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
