Firefighters tackled a boat fire in Wisbech this morning (Saturday, August 18).
Crews from Thorney, March and Lincolnshire were called to the blaze affecting a boat out of the water in Crab Marsh at 11.20am.
Firefighters from Wisbech were unavailable.
Crew members used two hose reels and two sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze in the boat’s hull and spent an hour-and-a-half damping down the scene.
A cause of the fire has not yet been released.
