Fire crews battle to stop flames spreading to bungalow and electricity cables
Firefighters successfully battled to stop a large fire spreading to a nearby bungalow, telephone lines and electrical cables in Wisbech.
Two crews from Wisbech and Dogsthorpe were called to a fire in the open in Lords Lane yesterday, Monday March 27.
About 50 square metres of wood and pallets were well alight in close proximity to a bungalow.
Firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 8.27pm.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
