Ormiston Meadows Academy in Matley held their Frost Fair in December, with holiday themed stalls, refreshments, crafts, a raffle, and Santa’s Grotto. It was opened by Mayor and Mayoress of Peterborough Cllr John Fox and Cllr Judy Fox. The event was organised by the Parents’ Voice, a group which has organised a range of fundraising events for the school. Jean Watt, principal, said: “It was wonderful to be able to host the Frost Fair once again this year – its success was testament to the hard work and dedication of the students and parents involved with organising. It’s always great to engage with the local community with events like this and spread the Christmas spirit.”
