A magic and hypnosis evening is raising money for a Peterborough special needs school.

Entertainer Reuel Singh will be performing at the Park Inn Hotel, Wentworth Street, for up to 70 people at the event on Saturday, November 7.

Guests are invited to put themselves forward to be hypnotised on the night.

Other entertainment will include a light buffet and disco.

Tickets are £25 with the evening starting at 8.30pm.

Proceeds go to the Phoenix School in Clayton, Orton Goldhay to provide equipment and support to students.

The event is celebrating the opening of its new school for pupils aged 16 and older.

Tickets can be bought by calling Liza Schwarz at Spencers Hair Salon, Lincoln Road, on 01733 324568. Volunteers can also get in touch.

Future fundraisers include a New Year’s Eve party at the Park Inn - where tickets are £25 and include a hot buffet - and the Spencers Glitter Ball on March 12, which tickets cost £65 for, which last year raised £13,000.
