EU REFERENDUM: Fenland votes heavily for Brexit

Voters in Fenland have voted by a big majority to leave the European Union in today's referendum.

From a turnout of 73.7 per cent, a total of 37,571 people, 71.4 per cent, voted to leave the EU, with 15,055, 28.6 per cent in favour of remaining in the EU.

The votes were counted at the Hudson Leisure Centre in Wisbech.
