The Evening Telegraphs most glamorous competition is now gathering speed, proving that Peterborough really is home to the beautiful people.

As the sensational modelling contest enters its second week, we are being inundated with sack- loads of pictures from guys and girls across the city, desperate for the exposure that could change their lives forever.

The contest aims to find a boy and girl with true model potential, and secure them a contract with the go-ahead agency DK Model Management, in Sheffield.

There are stacks of goodies in store for all entrants, and even more for those who make the gorgeous shortlist.

As Final Night draws near, the eight lucky lads and lasses will be treated to fabulous make-overs, courtesy of Designer Group, based in the citys Orton Centre.

Rob Moore (23), of Eye Road, Peterborough showed other men he had The Look, when he won The Evening Telegraph competition in 1999.

He added: "Getting the make-over is really great, and at least I can say I tried the clean-shaven look."
