Businesses and households across Peterborough are being called upon on to take part in the annual Zero Waste Week challenge.
Zero Waste Week takes place from Monday 16 to Sunday, 22 February.
Despite its name, you don’t have to go completely ‘Zero Waste’ - the idea is to reduce the amount of waste being sent to landfill, helping the environment while saving you money.
Kim Coley is the senior green business coordinator at Investors in the Environment who are pushing the challenge and asking participants to share photographs of their green pledges on Twitter via @iiEUK using the hashtag #ZeroWasteWeek.
She said: “Zero Waste Week is a great initiative for encouraging everyone to look at their day-to-day actions.”
