Bin collection changes in Peterborough over Christmas and new year
Collection dates move forward a day, with people who normally have their rubbish picked up on Tuesday (Boxing Day) having it collected a day later (Wednesday, December 27).
People who would be expecting a bin collection on Wednesday (December 27) will have it collected on Thursday (December 28).

Hide AdPeople who would be expecting a bin collection on Thursday (December 28) will have it collected on Friday (December 29).
And people who would be expecting a bin collection on Friday (December 29) will have it collected on Saturday (December 30).
Black and green bin collections return to normal service from Tuesday, January 2.
If you have any recycling that cannot fit in your green bin, you can put this in clear bags next to your green bin on its collection day. Please also remember to put your food bin out for collection.

Christmas trees can be taken to the Household Recycling Centre in Dogsthorpe, PE1 3TD.
It’s open seven days a week from 8am to 4pm, except on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. It will close at noon on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
