A Peterborough area secondary school is to remain closed today.
Sir Harry Smith Community College in Whittlesey will be closed today due to a lack of water.
Parents have been sent a text message with the information and thee is also a statement on the school’s website.
The school said there is a water problem with an issue flushing toilets and that Anglian Water is on site.
An Anglian Water spokesperson said: “Our engineers are working with Sir Harry Smith’s Community College in Whittlesey to identify what is causing their water supply problems.
“It’s not clear at this stage whether there is a problem with Anglian Water owned pipework or the school’s pipework, but we’re working to resolve things as quickly as possible.”
