Hampton College saw an improvement in their GCSE result compared to last year.
A total of 60per cent of Hampton College students achieved the new league table benchmark of a higher pass (A*-C grades) in both Maths and English GCSEs .
Executive Headteacher, Helen Price, said: “We are pleased with the significant improvement in our headline GCSE figures. We also look forward to the publication next month of the new national progress statistics, which we expect to show that Hampton College students have made very good progress during their time with us.
“English GCSE results were particularly impressive, with 92% of the Year 11 cohort achieving a grade C or better in their English Language GCSE. “Based upon their starting points in Year Seven, 96 % made expected progress and 68% made greater than expected progress in English.
“These results reflect the hard work and dedication of the students and the superb support they have received from their teachers and the whole staff team at Hampton College. ”
