Driver taken to hospital after car hits lamppost in Peterborough
A driver was taken to hospital after his car crashed into a lamppost.

Police were called on Sunday at 2.57pm to Thorpe Road.
The incident involved a red Renault Megane.
Police and the ambulance service attended the scene and the road was closed while the vehicle was recovered.
The driver was taken to Peterborough City Hospital.
The extent of his injuries is unknown.
