Driver flees on foot after seriously injuring motorcyclist in collision

A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a hit and run collision on Saturday, June 11.

The rider of the motorbike suffered serious leg injuries in the collision on East Street in St Ives at about 12.40pm .

The driver of the silver Lexus IS200 made off from the scene on foot and police are appealing for information to locate him.

PC John Mayor from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw the collision to contact police. I would urge the driver of the Lexus to come forward and speak to us.”
