Cyclist suffers neck injuries after collision with car in Orton Goldhay

A man has suffered neck injuries after being thrown 'some distance' from his bicycle following a collision with a car in Peterborough.

Police and ambulance crews were called at 12.45pm today, Tuesday February 2, to Goldhay Way at the roundabout with Fletton Parkway.

A male cyclist in his 30s was treated for neck injuries after a collision involving a car.

Police said he had been thrown “some distance” by the force of the collision.

His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening but a rapid response car and ambulance attended.
