Woman with two-year-old child in car arrested for drink driving on Peterborough parkway

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash overnight.

The woman had her two-year-old child in the car when the crash occurred on the A1139 in Peterborough.

The BCH Road Policing Unit said she provided a positive roadside breath test of 68, nearly double the legal limit.

She has now been taken to police custody.

There were no injuries.
