A woman was stabbed yesterday evening (Monday, August 10) near the job centre in Broadway, Peterborough.
The victim, a 30-year-old woman, says she was attacked by two men in hooded tops and was taken to hospital with stab wounds.
The stabbing was reported at just after 9pm.
A police spokesman said the injuries are not life threatening.
He added that it appears to be an isolated incident and that police are investigating.
The stabbing comes less than two weeks after another one at nearby St Mark’s Street.
The East of England Ambulance Service said it was called to an incident in Burghley Road, Peterborough at 9.17pm.
A spokeswoman said an ambulance, rapid response vehicle and an ambulance officer attended and treated one female patient with a back and leg injury.
She was taken to Peterborough City Hospital in a stable condition.
