Woman appears in court charged with £10,000 fraud from 96-year-old Peterborough City Hospital patient
A woman has appeared in court charged with a series of thefts and frauds from elderly and infirm hospital patients - including a £10,000 fraud involving a 96-year-old patient at Peterborough City Hospital
June Weatherman, (56), spoke only to confirm her personal details as she appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court by videolink from HMP Bronzefield in Ashford, Middlesex.
The defendant, of Chilton Street in London, is charged with 23 offences - nine thefts, five frauds and nine counts of breaching a restraining order.
Weatherman, who gave no indication of plea, was remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Crown Court on February 27.
