Owners of Peugeot Boxer Vans are being urged to be vigilant following a spate of break-ins in Spalding.

Three of the latest of these offences were all committed overnight between Tuesday 1st April into Wednesday 2nd April. The lock barrels were removed from the doors and tools and equipment stolen from inside the vehicles.

One offence was on the Hardwick Estate in Kirton and the other offences were on Edinburgh Walk and Neville Road, in Spalding. A vehicle was seen leaving the scene of one of these offences and is described as a dark hatchback vehicle.

Five reports have been received in total in the Spalding, Kirton and Deeping St Nicholas areas but there may have been other unreported cases. If your van has been targeted and you have not contacted police, please inform us.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to these offences and are asking all van owners to think carefully about how and where they park their vehicles and to remove items from their vans overnight.

Anyone with information should call Lincolnshire police on 101.
