Police have warned residents about con artists posing as council workers in Peterborough.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said they had received a number of reports of fraudsters pretending to be workers in the city over the past few days.
The spokesman said: "We advise you avoid doorstep sellers and get at least three quotes from reputable companies before agreeing to work.
