Warning after burglary spate in Spalding

Residents in Spalding are being warned following a number of burglaries last night.

Police in Spalding are investigating a number of burglaries, that occurred on Tuesday.

The first raid happened at Chestnut Avenue, some time between 5pm on Tuesday and 7am on Wednesday morning.

The second incident is a burglary at a house in West Elloe Avenue that happened between 4.30pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday.

It is not clear at this time what has been stolen during these two burglaries.

The third burglary was at an address in Albert Street. Some time between 8.30am and 8pm on Tuesday, the offender gained entry by smashing a glass patio door at the rear and stole items of jewellery, including gold rings and a bracelet and pendant with ‘Mum’ engraved on it.

Also on Tuesday, a burglary occurred at a property in Cloot Drove, Crowland, between 7.30am and 6.45pm. A TV and a laptop were stolen. Police also received reports of an attempted break-in at a property in Queen’s Road, where the back door glass was smashed but no entry was gained.
