Wanted man arrested in grounds of Peterborough Cathedral
A man wanted in connection with a theft from Peterborough City Market was arrested in the grounds of the cathedral following a tip off from CCTV operators.
The man in his 30s was arrested at 11.45pm last night (Monday, May 2) on suspicion of stealing an item of low value.
He has been taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station where he remains in custody.
